    Why does Lady Gaga get a free pass from hipsters?

    Lady Gaga is basically singing Britney Spears songs (I actually though it was Britney the first time I heard Poker Face), but since she dresses like Fischerspooner and acts like an "artist" she's given a free pass? Sure, she might actually be able to sing, but I don't see the Cobrasnake crowd championing Christina Aguilera.

    I've wondered this myself!

    Girl Talk is my favorite but DJ Earworm is pretty good too.

    Girl Talk ruined a lot of songs for me because I end up preferring his version of them eventually.
