[spoiler] tag synonyms

Is it at all possible that the current spoiler tag system could be expanded to let you write [spoilers] as well to open and close the tags?

I know the button is right there, but given the nature of the tags (i.e. they spoil stuff) it'd be nice if it accepted both spellings, since it seems to be one of the most common ways I stuff up getting stuff under the spoiler tags.
