So, I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the spam and junk mail I'm getting daily.
I have AT&T DSL, and it DOES have a web-based component in which I can configure some spam/junk filtering. I have it turned on, and have even gone in and marked spam/junk in hopes that it would "learn" and block some of the things that are repeatedly nagging.
I even get a string of 7-12 emails DAILY that are the same thing every day. I have marked them as junk in my email settings for 2 weeks and it still refuses to filter them.
Thunderbird, thankfully, has finally begun to learn and filter things, but that just affects my desktop and doesn't prevent the spam/junk from showing up on my Droid. And even on my desktop, I'm still having to download it before it catches it and kicks it out.
Is there some sort of email "proxy" I can use to pick up my email in an already filtered form? If there's something I can run on a linux box to do it myself, that'd be even better since I have a box here at work on a live IP that I can play with.
