[find this video] Trippy Epic Shmup-Like Anime Battle-Royale
I saw a video a while ago and it was one of the strangest and most wonderful things I've seen. I've lost what it was called (did it have a name? I forget) and I've lost where I watched it from so I need some help finding it!
I'll try to explain what is in the video to the best of my ability:
had a pixelated style
anime/videogame looking characters flying around and shooting things
had no words, just epic battle music that was progressive/symphonic in style
it REALLY felt like it was a shmup
EPIC last boss who would constantly change forms after dying etc.
it had a few simultaneous battles going on at the same time which converged to the end battle
I'm estimating that it was about 30 minutes long - pure battling / buildup in typical J-RPG epic style
lots of 'disturbing' imagery like dead babies, evil angels, a goddess, etc.
had a very good vs evil feel to it
VERY trippy - almost as if you'd be on acid to make it
one scene I kind of remember is a guy fighting all these policemen as they chase him down he's jumping from car to car etc.
I really enjoyed watching it and if you haven't seen it, keep watch on this thread because I'll eventually find it (persistence, baby) even if you fine gentlemen in H&A do not.
He's done others besides Kings of Power and they're more trippy and more messed up. Well, at least as trippy.
His most popular work is probably still Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle. He's also done some commercial work, with an Architecture in Helsinki music video as the most recognizable.
