    tim burton can suck my ass. He made a few decent films - beetlejuice, pee wee's big adventure, nightmare before christmas, edward scissorhands, mars attacks and ed wood, big fish I guess... but ever since sleepy hollow, pretty much, he's made pure fucking crap. Especially since that horrible fucking Planet of the Apes

    No, this isn't a Let's Play; Helloween already did that, far better than anyone probably could. I'm just playing it.

    And yes, it was a good movie. Not perfect, but good. It was much darker than Disney's but not as dark as the game(but really what is?).

    Saw this today with the family. There were a lot of really young kids in the audience, which confused me a little since there were definitely some scenes which I wouldn't have wanted them seeing. I also had some trouble understanding what people said at times, but there is a good chance that they were just saying nonsense shit because that is what people in Wonderland do.

    I don't know how I feel about every movie being in digital 3D these days.

    My only awareness of this franchise is from when a friend changed his AIM name to something with March Hare in it and it sparked a conversation. But that was something like a decade ago, and I remember nothing.

    I'm pretty sure Johnny Depp said something to the effect of that if Tim Burton wanted him to have sex with a platypus on camera, he'd do it.

    On the other hand, Kevin Smith hates the guy, so it's 50/50.

    i guess this quote best describes burton's involvement on nightmare: On the direction of the film, Selick reflected, "It's as though he [Burton] laid the egg, and I sat on it and hatched it. He wasn't involved in a hands-on way, but his hand is in it. It was my job to make it look like "a Tim Burton film", which is not so different from my own films.

    One of my favorite quotes regarding Burton's work came from Kevin Smith. I don't recall the specifics, but Smith claimed one of Burton's films lifted elements from a comic he had worked on.

    Burton- "Everyone who knows me knows I don't read comics."

    Smith- "Well, that explains Batman."

    As for Kevin, I'm willing to forgive anything from the guy who made Chasing Amy.

    His films have been going steadily downhill though. But I liked Zack & Miri way more than Clerks 2.
