In a series RLC, w0 = 1/sqrt(LC). I managed to calculate the bandwidth limit frequencies (in readable format here) no problem. The issues is that logically, since the resonant frequency is at the center of the bandwidth, w0 should also equal the term in the sqrt sign ((R/2L)^2+1/LC), but that would require R/2L = 0, which is nonsense.
Technically, I should just accept this and move on, it's right before spring break and the shit's starting to pile up. But a part of my brain is preventing me from continuing until I can give myself a logical explanation for this problem. Help?
