resetting time on an ipod?

I'm sure there's an extremely simple and obvious solution to this... I just can't find it.

So my I turned my ipod on the other day to play that ridiculously amusing maze game, and I noticed it said the time was 9 something pm, west coast time. I'm in Ontario, and it was more like 2 something.

I know you can change the time zone in the Clock option on the ipod, but then it just decided that it was 9 something in Toronto, it didn't even make the time change the three hours it should between those time zones.

So my ipod is currently 7h20min fast, and I can't find a way to change this. I can change the time zone, but this doesn't seem to affect the time it shows at all. Plugging it into my computer didn't reset the time either.

How do I reset the time on my ipod? Is the setting on the ipod or in itunes, or do I have to 'restore' it and start all over? =/

When you plug it into my computer, does it sync with itunes?

Yup, it synchs every time. After unplugging it, it still says 7 hours ahead.

I guess you could always do a factory reset, but you'd lose everything. I honestly don't know..I've had the times get off on my old mini, but whenever I synced it, it would fix it.

On my ipod I go to main menu->Settings->Date & Time->Set Date & Time to change the time.

This info might be too late for you I guess...
