[PC Help ] Audio/Video Speeding up

Hi guys,

Recently my PC has had a weird glitch. On random occasions video/audio playback on iTunes/WMPlayer speeds up and the sound becomes garbled. It stops when I stop/ff/rewind the current track.

I recently installed a new techworks external 5.1 soundcard and Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers.

My Specs are:

AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+
1023MB DDR-SDRAM
Abit Computer Corp nForce2 Motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT
250GB + 80GB WD hard drive
5.1 Techworks external sound card

Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

Any ideas on where I should start troubleshooting?

Thanks.

Have you tried removing your drivers and reinstalling them?
