Music has always been a love of mine, and in recent years I've broken out of my personal status quo,
and been really interested in the development of contemporary hip-hop, and other stuff.
I'm not a HUGE anime fan, because I find a lot of stuff to be mediocre (dont hate on me though). However, due to recent fun viewings of Afro Samurai and Samurai Champloo, as well as listening to some stuff by the RZA, Jedi Mind Tricks, and other stuff makes me want to find a way to screw with my own tracks.
So help me out - how can i use my Mac (for cheap or for free), to DJ - whether by myself, or at a venue, I'm looking for a program than can do simple stuff like easily blend songs into another, as well as screwing with how a track plays digitally, without a turntable. Any advice would help!
Also, if anyone has any particular resources, would they know if I could use certain programs with stuff I've downloaded on Itunes? Say I've downloaded Afro Samurai, track 3, and I want to "turntable it" a bit more because I find the tracks beats, while cool, a little stale. Can Program X help me do that?
Short: Need a good, cheap/free DJ program for Mac, that ideally can use tracks from Itunes as well as other media sources.
