On a side note, do you guys have any plans to promote PATV beyond the link in the horizontal nav bar? For such a good series, it's pretty tucked away.
the whole homepage navigation needs to redone actually
thats why i got excited when Khoo said "what is wrong with this page"
i really wanted to see what they had to say, because there are some usability issues going on there that could really help the overall site if fixed.
I'm not going to act like an expert, and I realize I'm coming off as just another 'bah I'm on the internet so I know what's best!" but my knee-jerk reaction to Khoo's question was pretty much this. PATV is so awesome, but it's tucked in a spot that many people glance right over...a place where many sites typically have their "about | contact | FAQ |" type pages that often get ignored as a result.
i dont like it
the patv logo is way to big and blocks a good portion of the window where it previews the episode, also it is bigger then the existing penny arcade logo which is odd
plus the margins are all wonky and different sizes

pretty much. and ya, i don't mean to come off that way either, i just do a lot of this because of my job so whenever i see a site i kinda of just naturally make a bulleted list of stuff i dis/like or would change.

Khoo, when you asked each candidate what was wrong with the PA website during the final stage of the interview process, was fixing this one of Erika's answers?

Make Penny Arcade doesn't want IE users on their site.

it does when the tab is selected/highlighted i think
like the full extend of any selected tab lines up with the bottom box, but the three other non-selected tabs are a few pixels off because, naturally, they are not highlighted.

I was going to say this is foolish because the placement of the logo doesn't actually obstruct anything, but on New Hire pt 1 you can't see Tycho's face, which is weird!
EDIT: Though the preview picture was probably chosen before the site revamp was drawn up, so as long as they pick the appropriate pictures it shouldn't matter.

wow
i didn't realize that the PA site doesnt have
body {
text-align:center;
}
page {
text-align: left;
}
in their css to fix the IE6 problem of the website hugging the left side of the screen
Don't they have an entirely different .css that loads for IE6 users?

as an expert interneteer,
the one that sticks out and cycles through lines up, but I think it would be better if the default lined up and then it stuck out more.
