The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
It's huge. I have stuff from media players (multiple ones), photo management tools, anti virus programs, backup utilities, compression utilities, anti spyware programs..
I've tried going into each of the programs and have tried to find a way to turn them off but either the options wont work or the option to remove them doesn't exist.
If you can't turn off each application's presence in the right-click menu from within said application, some easy registry editing will solve the problem for you.
Case in point: I really didn't like seeing the option for "Catalyst Control Center" come up whenever I right clicked. This page outlines the process for removing that from the menu.
Try searching around for the same registry hacks for your other programs; you're probably not the first person to want to remove them from the right-click menu.
edit: Actually, there's an article on the same site that offers a larger overview to your problem and might be more handy.
