Terminal Services 2008 and USB Drives

I have had this issue in the past and I can't remember how I solved it - I suspect it was by logging into the console, disconnecting my session by remotely logging in again.

But how do you make Terminal Services allow access to a USB drive connected to the server? I have combed through Group Policy and I just can't find it.

ARGH.

What OS? I've setup a GP template that disables USB stuff just recently, in XP. To find it in the gpedit.msc thinger isn't as intuitive as they would have you believe.

I haven't worked with 2008, nor have I ever run into this scenario. As a roundabout solution, could you share it, then map the share to a drive (using a login script if necessary)?

How are clients connecting to the server? RDP client? IE (remote desktop web connection)? Citrix plugin connecting to a Citrix server?

RDP to Server 2008 running Terminal Services to those who are asking.

Thinking back, I think I logged into the console directly, plugged in the drive, then logged in via RDP and accessed the drive. Which rather renders the question somewhat moot.
