Anyone have a Charlie Card that they aren't planning on using? I have a bunch of subway trips to make, but no Charlie Card because I'm media so no badge was mailed to me.
I'm at the Sheraton, and don't want anyone to go out of their way to get me one. My first of many trips is at about 4:30, so disregard this after that time. If you do have one (or 2), drop a post here and I'll meet you in the lobby

just go down to the train (back bay is a better bet, quick walk too) and ask a T employee, theyll have some.

Ah, alright. Someone had told me it was hard to track someone down that had any.
As far as the concierge goes, I hadn't thought of that. Going to do it now.
No dice on the concierge. They said the same thing that was echoed by locals: get them at the subway stations themselves....if you can track someone down with any.
Not a huge deal, but I figured I could save a few bucks with the reduced fares. Thanks all.

If you're traveling enough (2xs a day for 4 days will do it ) it's worth getting the $15 weekly pass which you don't need a Charlie Card for.
Also, Downtown Crossing has a customer service desk you can probably get one at.
Last I knew MBTA employees at subway stations always had a good sized stack of them on hand. Heck they sometimes just have them standing on top of the kiosks. I've never had trouble getting one for someone visiting from a subway station attendant. All you have to do is ask.

I'll try this approach, thanks.
As far as the other person who said they had a spare, don't sweat it now. I should be able to snag a card I think.
