Free MMOs list?

Hey guys, I tried searching and looking around but couldn't find it. There was a topic with a list of a lot of free mmos. Anyone have the link saved?

Also could anyone recommend one for a couple of friends to play together? Nothing too big on system or time requirements would be nice.

I would say WoW, but it's quite a big file. I downloaded the demo for SWG a few months ago, but it was glitchy to the point of me being unable to access the character menu as the game would quit. I also downloaded EVE Online, and maybe it's just me, but that tutorial really overwhelmed me, thereby turning me off to that game.

Are we allowed to link to other forums? There's a huge thread on the VG Cats forum about it. Just a shame that most free MMORPGs are Korean identical clones of one another.

Trials, sure. But not free, full games.

Not to mention WoW required a CC last I checked.

'The Other Forum' has a similar sticky on top of their MMO subforum, although the OP doesn't have all the ones mentioned later in the thread reincorporated into it (unfortunately).

Maplestory. I'm level 40 atm, haven't been able to play in a while though because my laptop has the tendeency to overheat very easily and just lag to the point where I can barely move the mouse.

Voyage Century - realistic sailing based game. Still in beta, but it's supposed to be free afterwards as well.
