    I love this comic, especially as I have recently been talking to friends about the art of DMing

    Passing on the torch is a great experience

    ...especially if you get yourself a replacement torch so you can keep your hand in

    I wasn't at the draw-a-comic, there must be some joke about that tie. Cuz Khoo would NEVER wear a tie like that. I refuse to believe it.

    I thought about asking this on Saturday, but I think this comic would have been better if Gabe was sitting on a throne of skulls and bones with a pair of dice as hand grips while wearing a Pac Man loin cloth.. The speech reads to me like the one from Conan and having that imagery to go with it would be pretty awesome.

    Aw. I was there when this was drawn. Sitting quite close to the stage. Just being able to behold the creation of this in real life made this the best weekend of my entire nerdy existence.

    And damn, I really wish Gabe kept all the extra doodles he did, from Chtulhu Gabe to Centaur Gabe, to Cyclops Tycho to Hot Dog fairy. And especially Tycho's rendition of himself.

    Those made the whole comic even better. :)

    I am an erstwhile DM, and I approve of this course of action.

    My fury knows no bounds when it comes to people trying to fuck up the flow of the game we have going, and honestly the occasional character death is good for the story anyways! Especially if there's no chance of ever resurrecting him. Ever.
