I'm not too sure if this has been posted elsewhere (with my luck it already has and I missed it). If it has just let me know.

That aside.

I had an amazing time at Pax East and while I was there I met some amazing people from all over the world. Sadly, I never met anyone from my neck of the woods. Now, days after Pax has past, I long to hangout with people who love gaming as much as me.

I wonder if I'm not the only person who wishes they had met people who live in their area at Pax. So maybe this can be our second chance to meet the people we missed meeting while in Boston.

I would love to meet people in my area and hangout!

Location: Ottawa, ON
Interests: PC gaming, Console gaming (Xbox 360, DS, Wii), Magic the Gathering
How to contact me: PM me on the forums and I will get back to you!

If you're not from Ottawa but looking for someone to game with and have an xbox live account just message me and add me as a friend! :D

The difference is the Connections thread is for people who want to keep in touch with other people they met at PAX. I barely talked to anyone outside my group of friends so it wouldn't apply to me

I live in the North Shore area in Massachusetts. I'm into the Wii, DS (virtually any Nintendo console, really), and PC gaming (which is pretty much limited to WoW)

Mostly consoles (all 3), but we're interested in table top (fantasy/horror type stuff). Really interested in D&D 4e, however with younger kids, we don't know how committed we could be to a regular game. Thanks to the swag bag, we tried Magic for the first time and really enjoyed it...though we were shunned by the waiter at the Sheraton lobby bar.

I honestly have no idea. I've only dropped by Zombie Planet to pick up MtG cards many many months ago. In the Post Pax Blues I joined their FB page looking to see what events are in the area. My Fionce and I are usually left playing MtG and Munchkins just us two, which is so boring. I also got Settlers of Catan for Xmas and was sad to find its 3-4 players :-/ We're WoW and other such videogame players primarily.

The Albany Game Day website didn't really provide much info, but ZP had it on their FB page so I figured we'd drop by and check it out anyways and see what its all about (And I'm debating buying the plushie murlocs they just got in :-D)

Woaaaaah, I'm in the Arbutus/Catonsville area myself. How the hell did I not know about Xanadu Games. I gotta get down there sometime. There's more to it than just MtG, right?

My brother's a PC FPS player with a middling interest and skill in Blazblue and Guilty Gear and a decided fondness for any and every Armored Core title released for the PSX/PS2/360. He's working on developing his own tabletop and roguelike games if you want a developer's brain to pick.

I'm a primarily tabletop gamer who'll play DnD if the group is right but prefers other role-playing games if I have the option. Small press and indie stuff like you heard about at the Beyond Dungeons and Dragons panel is where I want to be at. Technically also a WoW player but recent and nowhere near max level, just mucking around very casually.

Xanadu is really impressing me. They have a very good MtG environment but also have a lot of people show up for the Board Game nights and Video Game Fight Nights. It seems to be a relatively new shop so I think they are open to whatever events you want to run that will get new people in.
