I'm not too sure if this has been posted elsewhere (with my luck it already has and I missed it). If it has just let me know.
That aside.
I had an amazing time at Pax East and while I was there I met some amazing people from all over the world. Sadly, I never met anyone from my neck of the woods. Now, days after Pax has past, I long to hangout with people who love gaming as much as me.
I wonder if I'm not the only person who wishes they had met people who live in their area at Pax. So maybe this can be our second chance to meet the people we missed meeting while in Boston.
I would love to meet people in my area and hangout!

I think there are quite a few of us in the Rochester area. We should set up a meetup or something.
I know Albany Game Day is at ZombiePlanet on Sat so I was going to try and make it there in the late afternoon/evening and see whats going on.
One more in the Rochester area, reporting in.
Interests: PC gaming, D&D (would love to find a group since cant make it to my game store on their rpg night)
I am a monster truck that walks like a man.
Interest:MtG, PC, PS3, D&D, random eurogames(love me some 4hr long Cara matches), playtesting new card or board games, developing/programming all of above.
I mainly now have start to haunt Xanadu Games in Arbustus, MD if you are ever looking for a match.

What brand of Virginia? M'lady and I are in the Fredericksburg area.
Mostly consoles (all 3), but we're interested in table top (fantasy/horror type stuff). Really interested in D&D 4e, however with younger kids, we don't know how committed we could be to a regular game. Thanks to the swag bag, we tried Magic for the first time and really enjoyed it...though we were shunned by the waiter at the Sheraton lobby bar.
Anyway, if you need me, I'll be in Stellar Cartography.

Syracuse here, close enough. My friend came with, a co-worker was also there, and a buddy of mine that works at a local game store.
Severna is 45 minutes away from my place.
I work at Lockheed Martin across from SSA in Woodlawn off of Security Blvd. I live 20 minutes away from work.
I am just outside of Baltimore (yet inside the beltway) to the NW.
I got all the Rock Band goodness you could ask for and I also have some kick ass computer hardware since I review video cards for GPUReview.com. If you want to play Left 4 Dead 2, Metro 2033, Resident Evil 5 or any other PC games in 3D using the brand new GeForce GTX 480 (that does not go on sale until mid-April), I am your man.
You can read my GTX 480 review right here.
Send me a PM if you want to hang out.

WTF are the chances of that....I'm in the same building  They stick my group all the way in the back due to our....rambunctiousness.
Now theres a testament to PAX, you travel all the way across the east coast to meet new friends who turn out to actually work in your office!

If you are in 1506 come over to the front entrance. I am to the left of the front desk and the name on my cube is Stephen C McBarnes. There are Final Fantasy Advent Children and Futurama postcards on my cube walls.

I'm in Charlottesville area, mostly a PC fanboy and love Magic too also just got my 360 before PAX so I play that some too. Haven't really touched D&D since High School, but could be interested in getting back into it if we could find a good group to play with.

Fairfax, VA here - Right outside DC.
Wow, small world. APG-EA too, building E3549. I'm working on getting some folks from this building to go to PAX next year, I don't think any of them knew it existed 'till I cam back with my scarf and program o' awesomeness.
Interests: PC Gaming, Rock Band, Tabletop (mostly board. I've never played D&D but I would love to give it a shot some time)
I used to run a Board Game Night with a few of my friends weekly that I'm probably going to start up again in a month or so after I move to my new place in Laurel. PM me if you're interested and I'll let you know when I'm having one so you can drop by.
Also, I work for Accenture near BWI. Government contractors in the house!
I honestly have no idea. I've only dropped by Zombie Planet to pick up MtG cards many many months ago. In the Post Pax Blues I joined their FB page looking to see what events are in the area. My Fionce and I are usually left playing MtG and Munchkins just us two, which is so boring. I also got Settlers of Catan for Xmas and was sad to find its 3-4 players :-/ We're WoW and other such videogame players primarily.
The Albany Game Day website didn't really provide much info, but ZP had it on their FB page so I figured we'd drop by and check it out anyways and see what its all about (And I'm debating buying the plushie murlocs they just got in :-D)
Awful lot of upstate NYers here though!
That's cool. I'm moving to Wilmington, DE to start my masters degree at UD in the fall, and I've heard there's some big gaming stuff in the area, I'd totally be up for meeting new people, especially anyone cool enough to show up at PAX!
You live 45 minutes away from me. Look for my post above where I talked about my interests and I quoted two other MD people. Limond is about 20 minutes to the East of you btw...

You sire have more willpower and courage than I do! I worked for them briefly before running in terror from their expected work weeks, and 2 of my other colleagues from another UX Shop in NYC almost burned out. Mad props for still being sane.

Location: Boston, MA
Interests: Console Gaming, PC Game that will run on linux with a terrible graphics card, Definitely down for tabletop stuff but I haven't done any of it since I was in middle school.
Don't really seem to be many people around here in this thread. Worth saying hi though I guess.
Woaaaaah, I'm in the Arbutus/Catonsville area myself. How the hell did I not know about Xanadu Games. I gotta get down there sometime. There's more to it than just MtG, right?
My brother's a PC FPS player with a middling interest and skill in Blazblue and Guilty Gear and a decided fondness for any and every Armored Core title released for the PSX/PS2/360. He's working on developing his own tabletop and roguelike games if you want a developer's brain to pick.
I'm a primarily tabletop gamer who'll play DnD if the group is right but prefers other role-playing games if I have the option. Small press and indie stuff like you heard about at the Beyond Dungeons and Dragons panel is where I want to be at. Technically also a WoW player but recent and nowhere near max level, just mucking around very casually.
Xanadu is really impressing me. They have a very good MtG environment but also have a lot of people show up for the Board Game nights and Video Game Fight Nights. It seems to be a relatively new shop so I think they are open to whatever events you want to run that will get new people in.
I play anything I find fun so if you have something you want to play and I'm there I'm totally down to play.

Nice. Lots of MD people! We should really get together. If you guys are interested in playing some Rock Band, or getting a D&D group together, let me know, I'm definitely in. I'll probably try dropping by Xanadu on one of their board game nights as well. I've never heard of them, but they're only about a half hour away from where I'm living right now.
How late do they usually go, and would I be ok showing up late? 2pm on tuesday doesn't exactly work wonders for me.

HEY! I used to work for Lockheed as well. I was a contractor at MS2 Syracuse. I had to leave though because I was offered a job that was direct employment and had benefits. I miss that place big time though.
I did at one point do a lot of remote work for Bethesda, Eagan, and Morrisville too.
You could count me in for some Rock Band playing. I live about 15 minutes West of B'more, and work down right below Columbia. I too am a defense contractor. Go us!
I might also be interested in getting involved in some DnD, I tried getting people to play in college, but none of my friends were really into it.
