When can we apply to be an enforcer for PAX Prime?
I see the ticket sales for PAX Prime 2010 have gone up (hurray!). However I would very much like to apply to be an enforcer this year but the application to be an enforcer seems to come later. I'm very paranoid of missing out on tickets. Any idea when the call for enforcers will go out?
If (big IF) theres public applications this year (theres a lot of east enforcers coming over, its unknown at this point) the application thing will be on the front page of Penny-Arcade.
Just buy a badge, if theres enforcer applications and you get accepted you can get a refund.

So I live in the Seattle area, and have a PAX enforcer friend. In '08 he tried to get me to volunteer, but I missed the boat entirely. I totally spaced in '09, and totally forgot when PAX was, and couldn't get in cause it was sold out. My point is, I'm dead awful at scheduling my cons more than a couple weeks in advance. I'm trying to make a change for PAX '11, and I want to volunteer for the enforcers.
See, I'm kind of a budding comic book artist, and like going to the local cons. It's like, these are my people. I just got done with Sakura con, and while I had loads of fun, the organization there was very lacking in quality. I realized when it was all over, what good people I've been spoiled with in the background. And I want to be a part of that.
The Enforcer friend mentioned to me that there's three posts on the forums for volunteering at any given time, and interested parties need to be on top of that. I thumbed through the forums, and didn't see anything concerning PAX (Prime, I assume) 2011 yet. I'm thinking with '10 being as recent as it was, and East rapping up, it may be a little soon. :P
Anyway, I don't want to miss my opportunity, so I'm taking initiative. But with nothing to go off of yet, I'm kind of putting myself out there in hopes that some basic needs of this quest be met; how can I volunteer at this stage?
Thanks!
When I say PAX '11, I mean 2010. Thanks mod, for pointing me to this thread.

I think your friend meant our private Enforcer forums that we use. If you are accepted, you are given access and you need to keep checking THOSE forums for updates.

I did precisely this for East. This will cover you no matter what happens regarding Enforcing.
My book reviews, twitter, FB.

Am I mistaken in thinking PAX '10 has already passed? Cause that's totally possible.
Edit; yup, I'm on crack. Pure and simple. Prime is in September, yesh? Then ah-hah! I have NOT yet missed '10! Sweet!

I make costumes.
How quickly do these posts appear during the application phase?
(here's hoping there's room for at least a few new good enforcers. )
