Book Suggestions

So I need to read a moral/ethical book for an ethics class I'm taking. It doesn't have to be long, but I do need enough for ~1 hr of reading each week for a total of 4 weeks. I'm looking for good reads, not the standard "How to Improve Your Ethics" type books, but actually good books.

I've already read "The Alchemist" and would prefer to stay away from overtly Christian moral/ethical books.

Thank you in advance for the suggestions.

I'll look into Flowers for Algernon and Sophie's Choice, but I think I'll steer clear away from 120 Days of Sodom due to the fact I have to write a paper and be peer graded. I feel like that would be pretty awkward.
