I live about 45 minutes from Seattle, and my friends and I just want to drive in each day. The problem is, the convention center's parking garage closes at midnight, which is bad for us since we want to go to the Saturday night concerts. Can anyone point us to some decently-priced all-night lots? Preferably some with a discount for purchasing multiple days.
Thanks!
If you can't handle me at my Worcestershire, you don't deserve me at my Bestershire.
I do not know of any Multiday discount options. However aside from finding a random public parking outside parking somewhere (won't be close most likely) the best option I can give thats close and isn't too bad really. Is 7th & Pike Garage - Grand Hyatt Self Parking. It is a 24hr parking garage (doesn't close like the rest) 45 minutes out is long way hope that works for you all.
Whatever you do, don't try to find free parking on Capital Hill. :P I did that last year and although it was indeed free, my rear bumper and trunk lid were covered in large white scuffs/scratches from some city DOT workers' signs.
You can still leave the convention's parking lot after hours. You just can't park.
But if we leave after hours, won't we be charged for another day?

Not an entire day. You may be charged more if your car is still there by the time they open the garage the next morning, but if you leave around 2-3am I don't believe they will charge any more. I had parked for a day and left in the early morning before while attending Sakura-con, though I honestly don't remember what the charge was, but you're still probably better off parking at the 7th & Pike garage that Singollo mentioned. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt last year and was parked there the whole weekend, and it wasn't very expensive.
I'm planning on doing the same thing. I have a sister that lives in Milton which is 45 minutes away, as well. I figure after gas and parking, I'll be spending $40 a day instead of the $160+ a night it takes to stay in a swank hotel.
Lewie and I stayed at the Inn on Queen Anne - fairly cheap and basic hotel, taxi wasn't expensive. I did have a car for 2 days, buthateddriving around Seattle - automatic car, lots of roadworks, nightmare 1 way system with some roads only open on some days, and parking very difficult to find.

This is what I believe to be true.
Researching last year I called and asked if I would be able to get my vehicle out after hours. They said as long as you were exiting from inside the convention center you could leave.
