So these have been out for a long ass time now, anyone just starting out in Johto, welcome!
here's a page all about the new shit (it is better than the old shit)
ANY OF THE 493 POKÉMON CURRENTLY IN EXISTENCE ARE CAPABLE OF FOLLOWING YOU AROUND OUTSIDE OF THEIR BALLS HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT SHIT
Discuss Pokémon in here. Old, new, it's all good, people are super friendly and helpful so don't be afraid to ask for a trade/battle!
The new Pokéwalker is awesome, stop being such a fatty and get out there in the sunshine with that thing! (or attatch it to hyperactive pets/children/fans/paint mixers)
ripped from the epic, ancient Swill OP:
But Swill! I don't know how to play good pokemon! How do I beat a baton passing sweep team with excellent type coverage despite that I am in a mono-type gym?!?
Worry no more! This is a friendly tournament, so you don't need to know all that stuff! Although you may need resources to know things like, Can Starmie learn Thunder? (Psshh Since red and Blue!) Or what is the difference between physical and special attack? Here are some friendly resources!
Smogon.com Smogon University pretty much is the apex of the competitive pokemon scene. With a Battle Simulator and a team builder, not to mention articles on every pokemon with stats and strategies it is more information than you really cared for
bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net This is the best wiki of pokemon I have used yet. Less competitive based and more general knowledge this site is great for learning all about your favorite pokemon how and where to catch them and what moves they can learn!
Serebii.net is just between the two above. An in depth pokedex of all pokemon weaknesses moves and stats is combined with great walkthroughs on how to do just about eveything in the world of pokemon. Their site has many more tutorials and articles to get the basic understanding of how things work and are pretty quick with Pokenews.

HOW TO WIN AT VOLTORB FLIP
Anything that adds up to 5 = dead section (nothing)
Don't get it? Basically, any marker whose numbers add up to five, whether it be four Voltorbs and one coin or two Voltorbs and three coins, only has one-coin cards in it, therefore, there is nothing of value in that row and it should not be touched. Don't believe me? Let's test it out then.
[] [] [] [] [] [3/2]
There are three coins in this row, and two Voltorbs. There's only one way this could possibly go.
[1] [1] [1] [V] [V] [3/2]
In any particular order, of course. Try it with any two numbers whose sum is five, you'll get the same result; there will never be a card with more than one coin in any section of the sort.
Now that I have you convinced, here's the whole thing.
Anything that adds up to 5 = nothing. Do not flip this section at all.
Anything that adds up to 6 = [one 2]. Once that card is uncovered, do not flip any more cards in this section.
Anything that adds up to 7 = [two 2s] OR [one 3]. Once one of those combinations is uncovered, do not flip any more cards in this section.
Anything that adds up to 8 = [three 2s] OR [one 3 and one 2]. Once one of those combinations is uncovered, do not flip any more cards in this section.
Anything that adds up to 9 = [two 3s] OR [one 3 and two 2s] OR [four 2s]. Once one of those combinations is uncovered, do not flip any more cards in this section.
Anything that adds up to 10 = [two 3s and one 2] OR [one 3 and three 2s]. Once one of those combinations is uncovered, do not flip any more cards in this section.
Anything that adds up to 11 = [two 2s and two 3s] OR [three 3s]. Once one of those combinations is uncovered, do not flip any more cards in this section.
Anything that adds up to 13 = [four 3s] OR...
I haven't figured out higher sums yet, mainly because I haven't been paying attention; but I'll add them in as I go. But, those are the only possible combinations for each sum of numbers on a marker. Feel free to contribute more. Using this as a guideline, you'll be able to more easily weed out sections that you should not flip using your own logic. Good luck.

there was no way he was getting this thread. i had a separate window open with this OP since page 110, constantly refreshing se++ in my main window so that the second the thread got locked I would hit 'submit thread' and steal it from him.
it would have been better if he was online when this happened.
lmao
that's why i had to stop it
this is not a real post
i cannot believe that this post exists, so therefore it doesn't.
hey kusu check out this post
Uh, you can catch them all if you want to, but you don't have to. The goal of the single player game is to catch Pokemon and battle with them. You go through the story traveling to new places and taking on fellow Pokemon trainers, Gym Leaders, and the occasional bad guy. The multiplayer game is about battling and is much more complex than the single player game.
non. Je refuse
yes you get into random battles as you walk around. use your cuddly partner to kill / weaken it. then throw a pokeball at it if you want it, when it's weakened.
it doesn't sound like this game is for you, so send it to me instead.
