Not Receiving Prize for SF4!

The tournament offered a SF4 Tournament edition stick for the top 4 placers. But because Seth Killian brought over SSF4, 2 of the sticks that were supposed to go to 3rd and 4th were taken. I was directed to email Mark Julio from MadCatz. He has yet to respond. I feel like I was shafted when I deserved a stick for placing top 4. I just fell like my annoying cries for a new TE stick should be heard.. even if flamed.. because I got top 4 with an XBOX 360 controller :(.

    I'd be patient, and follow up once per week until you have an answer. Any more than that and they can ignore you. Any less and they'll likely lose it in the shuffle.

    If you truly feel as though you have been cheated (ie, they have no plausible reason to disqualify you from claiming your prize), you might want to email Robert Khoo and let him know that these guys aren't following up on their promises. I'm sure there will be absolutely nothing he can do to get you your stick, but I'm sure he'd be interested in knowing when a vendor backs out of its promises to attendees.

    So they took your prize (and someone else's prize) and then used them to play Super Street Fighter 4
    without your permission? That's not cool man.

    I would have let them play a few rounds but when I was ready to leave and go somewhere else, I
    would have made sure that I left with my prize.

    Thank you Penny-Arcade awesome people. =D

    All I have to say is that.. the SF4 tournament was ridiculously tough... so it is totally deserved!~~!~!~ :-D

    Btw PAX was my first ever Con. It was awesome. Will be at the next con 4 sho....

    Now I wonder when my video card from alienware is going to arrive.. -.- granted it has only been 1 week.. I'll wait a while before I get whiny again lol :mrgreen:

    Nice. I had some problems at PAX 08 getting my invite to the WotLK beta test from Blizzard. I won one of the swag cards from the Paris Worldwide Invitational in a trivia contest at the Blizzard booth, but they were really dropping the ball in delivering my beta key. PA straightened it all out. They really are awesome like that.
