playsushi malware - having trouble killing it

My mom has apparently got her computer infected with this type of adware/malware/virus. This is the type of infection that puts those goddamned double underlined links on various keywords on a browser window. Hover over them and you get an obnoxious popup linking to more spam.
I tried a spybot, Avast, and a Malwarebytes scan. I'm doing an adaware scan right now. OK, adaware only found cookies. If that doesn't work I'll follow up with a trendmicro scan.
Any other suggestions?
