Also DE?AD you have to convert Marsh's Green Warden and my Carbosilicate Arm.

Time manipulation is now possible. It'll be really hard, but possible.

    true
I'm still shocked that reality altering costs less than being made of scrap metal, though

Green Warden is probably just a reskin of Cynosure.

yes, the benefits of being a robit are many, I'm not complaining

the reason I won't go the crash route is because crashes are way more lethal now, instead of quirky bullshit

    But mutants are awesome, Lock.

Robots cost a lot because they are immune to pretty much everything, and what they aren't immune to they only take a 1/2 Stress penalty from (huge).

Also, reality altering doesn't cost shit, Anti - the cost for Freaker is pretty much solely for their RAD regeneration and robots can be Freakers. They make pretty good ones, too.

I do still need to update some custom Ads, including Green Warden, which will be even less of a reskin now.

DE?AD, in my honest opinion, I am getting vibes from the first go-round of Gloss when you were trying to make things overwhelmingly difficult in mechanics

I know you worked hard on this, I'm not trying to disparage you or your system, I'm just not meshing with it at all
I barely understand this and I feel like an idiot and I'm sorry I even said anything in the first place

I'm passingly familiar with "roll under percentile" and this really doesn't seem all that difficult.

A lot of the onus is on the RM to keep track of the huge amounts of appropriate variables. In this way, it's actually easier on the player because it's less "well, if I have such and such stat, and this bonus here, which stacks twice with this and..." and more "my character could reasonably do this, gonna try it."

Intimate knowledge of the system is less important then getting a feel for picking up what the RM is putting down in their descriptions of what's going on, and translating that yourself into what action you should take.

    ???
    Henry
    Phy: 20%
    Soc: 60%
    Men: 20%

    Human [0%]
    - Green Warden [5%][L]
    Composed [10%]
    Profession (Enumerator) [10%]
    Walker (Empathic Reasoning) [10%]
    Well-Read [5%]
    Well-Traveled [5%]
    Loner [-5%]
    Sigil [?%][L]

    Total: 140%
The low phys and ment worry me, but at least you get a round to skedaddle if you get "stressed out".

A slightly higher social would also be nice, but I can't give up those little "well-traveled" style ads. I figure burning spirit will make up for it, given Henry's typical MO.

they are, and I'm looking forward to transferring R.B. over

I just think it'd also be really fun to play a Cynosure or an Adept

    oh well, maybe next time

question: why are mutants [20%/35%]? I didn't see anything that explained that, but I could've easily missed something

Because you must pick one of the specializations and they are either 20% (brute, swift, cerebral) or 35% (Supreme).

    oh yeah, duh

for some reason I thought that the specialization would be on top of the base mutant cost, which doesn't make much sense

I think that this is all a bit overwhelming simply because it all came down at once

we'll get used to it pretty quickly, and I for one welcome our new percentile overlords
