    Here's the thing about remission.

    People go into remission.

    they're fine... fine... fine... AND THEN DIE INSTANTLY.

    This happened to a couple students/parents while I was in highschool.

    How are they gonna prep for that

    My mom went into remission, and she was fine... fine... fine... and then she had some cancer again for a while and then she died after like two years of having cancer again.

    Part of me wants them to cure cancer, because it killed my mom.

    But part of me is like Ra's al Ghul, and thinks maybe we need more things that kill people, on account of how many of the world's problems ultimately come down to there being too many people.

    This thread is making me sad. My mother's officially on bed rest right now. Kidney stones, ovarian cysts, and some crazy fluid buildup in her abdomen have her down. Surgery on the 13th to see what's up.

    The situation is making me nervous, because this is the first time I've not been able to take care of her while she's had health issues. What with being away at college and all.
