Had a question about Munchkin the game

Hello,

I recently purchased Munchkin the card game and enjoyed it so much that I would like to buy the next set of cards, Munchkin 2. I noticed that some people called the other sets of Munchkin cards "Expatiation Sets", and I was wondering if the next set of cards were made to "mix in" with the original Munchkin or if you keep both sets of cards separated and play them as separate games.

So is it possible to play with to sets mixed or is it best to keep them separated?

Mixed sets are best. It would be somewhat impossible to play with an expansion pack alone, I'd think.

I've gone so far as to play a game of Star and Cuthulu munchkin mixed together.

Though it can get a little absurd at times. Its opinion, really, whether to mix or not.

As far as expansion sets go, they are indeed just expansion sets and don't contain all the cards you'd need to play a round.

Yeah, just mix em in. Be aware that some printings changed the colour of the door cards to be more recognisable (but if you bought your first set recently, this shouldn't be an issue).
