Important Edit: Apparently I am an idiot, and did not realize that TDL had passed on. My most humble apologies to everyone for bringing up bad memories.

So originally on Wednesday, I saw the rather huge Asheron's Call patch notes, and went to contact TDL to let him know about them. I remember having lots of fun talking with TDL about AC back in the day. I found out he was banned, couldn't find out why, couldn't search for him (TDL is 3 letters long), so I made this post asking if anyone knew his contact info.

TDL... left this world, 3 years ago. There's no details. We don't need them.

The thread has ballooned to a discussion on mortality, suicide, and absent friends.

    I wronged TDL, in his last days.

    I was infantry, he was an engineer.

    In the weeks leading up to his death, he was looking for help here, asking questions. I responded in the harsh mannerisms that I knew. I should have been more patient, tried to find out what was bothering him. Instead I responded to his posts with aggressive criticism.

    Does anyone have a link to the memorial thread? I'd like to read it. It must have been one of the ones while I was trapped in Dell Hell.

    I was mean and cursed him out in his last days.

    He probably didn't even notice, but I'll be feeling that one for a long time.
