    A habit I've had since childhood: At any dinner where both corn and mashed potatoes are served (mostly Thanksgiving), that shit is getting mixed together.

    mix the creamed corn with the gravy and apply it to the mashed potatoes. It gets you a better texture vs stirring corn into the potatoes.

    I am glad I am not the only one who does this. I do it with peas too.

    Hmm, my grandma made this stuff when I was a kid called tuna glop. It's basically your standard tuna salad (canned or bagged or whatever tuna, mayo or miracle whip, and pickle relish) plus mashed potatoes. I love it but that just might be one of those childhood fondness type things.

    Malt liquor + problems.

    Also, baked grits. Do up a pot of grits, add butter and pepper, then pour into a baking pan with slices of Velveeta all up ins. Then just bake it like it's cornbread. The tastiest thing.
