Fug recommended it to me when we were at Borders last, actually! I definitely want to look into aquiring it for cheap here. Gonna check the Book Off in Irinaka, see if I can find some...
Yeah, just had that pointed out to me. I could definately put it into perspective a little better. Torso is also a bit short, but that is easily solved.
It's not so much the perspective as it is the general anatomy of it. His thumb is too small and his fingers are too large (too fat). I also don't see any reason to have is fingers in that position.
Also, he has man boobs.
Fixed the hand, will post an updated version soon.
Any ideas on how to solve the man boob issue? Maybe I should just make them flatter. I've already given them more muscle definition but it doesn't seem to help too much.
I need to work on drawing the male chest. Females I can get just fine.
This will probably not be finished because I'm a donkey and closed PS somehow without resizing...so I post it here.
Spex, that blood creates some nice sense of motion
Lexxy, looks good but I would like my meal with anti-aliasing ^^'
Scos, that zombie looks good ^^ But at the end it will be one of thousand zombie pics :? Maybe you could spice it up a bit ^^'?

Lexxy and Spexxy
Waaaargh! Couple of doodles + bonus
I found almost all of my old artwork when I went home over the weekend. I mean stuff going all the way back to my Junior year in high school. So I decided to bring some of it back. Just a few things. I really wanna scan them all in, but some of them are 5'4 tall, and my scanner isn't even close to that. Naturally this is just nostalgic fun for me.
Carnage and Venom doodles that I did on a worksheet during my very, very first class Freshmen year. I just think they look neato.
BRAH!! So glad I found this! Second semester of Freshmen year. Its one of my few pieces, past or present, that I like. I'm just tossing it in here because I have no place else to put it.
I'm just saying it would drive me crazy to paint a picture with that many separate color schemes. Seems like a pain to keep your values coherent across all of them

(also I can't count)
Oh, gotcha'! It's actually really not that much of a chore, I just have to be careful.
I'm actually not sure of what I want to do for the unpainted areas though. hm.
Looking pretty good Iruka. My only beef is with the creature's teeth; most of the big guy is pretty organic and natural looking, but his teeth look like a combination of fence pickets and a silhouette of a city skyline or something.
Anyways, I'm trying to get back into my Speedpaint-a-day habit. This one is one of my favorite results so far, vaguely Alladin inspired. ~45 mins

EDIT: Lexxy... cute levels.... overwhelming...
This is Fritz. He is from a computer game called Zombie Smashers X.
You can download it for free and legally here somewhere.
I do not currently have access to my scanner.
I've been reading World war z and have a tendency of illustrating what my mind's eye envisions as I read books.
GO FOR THE BRAAAIN.

I probobly would have done some better coloring, but my inking sucks. I also screwed up on the width.
I enjoy this. Macabre and yet pleasantly colorful. It looks upward as if anxiously awaiting a sign of approval from its caregiver.
I've decided to do more traditional works for now.

Alyce, you must be a masochist, with the whole four(eight?!) color thing you have going on in there.
I don't...wait..what?

Hot hot hot. I like his teefs And for whatever reason, the knife in the neck didn't register when I looked at the initial sketch. Poor zombie man D;

Your V-scrolls can bite me. I forgot her shadow, I'll slip it in tomorrow.
Mine doesn't have to. 19" widescreen, baby.
Edit: I like the colors.
Her left leg looks a bit funky, as does the grass in a few places (like between her calves), but other than that this is some very solid work.

He's supposed to be lunging forward, his head is lowered for attack. I admit it's a little extreme but he's a zombie so I'll let it slide.
I don't know shit about what I'm doing. I think the water should be orangish...I have no fucking clue....I think I'll just scrap this one.
