Yeah, just had that pointed out to me. I could definately put it into perspective a little better. Torso is also a bit short, but that is easily solved.

It's not so much the perspective as it is the general anatomy of it. His thumb is too small and his fingers are too large (too fat). I also don't see any reason to have is fingers in that position.

    Also, he has man boobs.

Fixed the hand, will post an updated version soon.

Any ideas on how to solve the man boob issue? Maybe I should just make them flatter. I've already given them more muscle definition but it doesn't seem to help too much.

I need to work on drawing the male chest. Females I can get just fine.

    EDIT: Lexxy... cute levels.... overwhelming...

Spectre, truly it is fate that you posted this right before me.

Waaaargh! Couple of doodles + bonus

    KillerCroc.jpg

    ApocalypseDoodles.jpg

I found almost all of my old artwork when I went home over the weekend. I mean stuff going all the way back to my Junior year in high school. So I decided to bring some of it back. Just a few things. I really wanna scan them all in, but some of them are 5'4 tall, and my scanner isn't even close to that. Naturally this is just nostalgic fun for me.

    CarnageVenomDoodle.jpg
Carnage and Venom doodles that I did on a worksheet during my very, very first class Freshmen year. I just think they look neato.

    SkullFlower.jpg
BRAH!! So glad I found this! Second semester of Freshmen year. Its one of my few pieces, past or present, that I like. I'm just tossing it in here because I have no place else to put it.

I'm just saying it would drive me crazy to paint a picture with that many separate color schemes. Seems like a pain to keep your values coherent across all of them :o

Oh, gotcha'! It's actually really not that much of a chore, I just have to be careful.

I'm actually not sure of what I want to do for the unpainted areas though. hm.

    Ruka, that is love.

Her left leg looks a bit funky, as does the grass in a few places (like between her calves), but other than that this is some very solid work.

Nice Iruka, like how you've swapped out the girl I last saw. The only problem with this one is her legs. It's like 1/3rd thigh and the rest is calf.

Looking pretty good Iruka. My only beef is with the creature's teeth; most of the big guy is pretty organic and natural looking, but his teeth look like a combination of fence pickets and a silhouette of a city skyline or something.

Anyways, I'm trying to get back into my Speedpaint-a-day habit. This one is one of my favorite results so far, vaguely Alladin inspired. ~45 mins

He's supposed to be lunging forward, his head is lowered for attack. I admit it's a little extreme but he's a zombie so I'll let it slide.
