HDTV + TVersity + 360 = Blocky image

I just got a new HDTV today, and I've tried to watch some AVI files on the TV via my Xbox/PC, but the image is very blocky.
I've tried setting the xbox to 480p, 720p, and 1080i, but I still have the same result.
Other than this, everything looks perfect.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!

What is the resolution of these AVIs? Also, is there an option to watch them in their original resolution instead of fullscreen?

It has to with the way the transcoder (tversity) handles the files. In the options, you can turn up the max resolution so that it looks better for better looking content. There's also a way for it to force render things at 720 or whatever rez you want.. that's in the .config files somewhere, but I haven't messed around with that.

Oh, sweet. I just went into the transcoder options on Tversity, and upped the video resolution. Works perfectly now.
    Thanks for the help, dudes.

Tversity = problems for me. My 360 can 'see' the video, but it won't load it and the connection times out or something.

Is my computer too shitty to run it, perhaps?

It's very possible. TVersity needs a lot of resources from your PC.
Also, how are your 360 and the PC connected? Wired or Wireless?
