So, my dad asked me to find the name of a female singer who was apparently born today (19th).
He heard a song on the radio, but didn't catch her name, only that today was her birthday and that she's turning, he thinks, 43.
He believes that it's an American, but isn't entirely sure.
Wikipedia's 'born on this date' thingy didn't help much, so... help!

Or at the very least, a guess at the genre of music.

No idea, but there can't be that many. Which is kinda why I think the dude hosting the radio show was mistaken, or that my dad misremembers.
Sir Carcass: That was my thought too, but he says no.

Only female singer that wiki shows as having her birthday today is Julia Neigel. But she's 44.
