The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
So I'm finally getting time to catch up on movies and have realised that I haven't seen the third Bourne movie so am planning on watching it tonight.
I love the first movie and can remember it inside out. Jason comes to, with no memories except killer instincts. Treadstone want him dead as he's black bag ops relic and too dangerous to be roaming about freely. Treadstone is a now defunct (or is it?) black bag covert ops team. Movie ends with Bourne going mental on Treadstone handler / team and warning them to back off or shit storm will happen.
However the second movie I didn't like as much therefore only watched once - so I'm getting many blanks and am hoping you can school me before I watch number 3 tonight.
So Bourne is bumming about, laying low with his GF from first movie when he get's found (by who?). They then kill his GF while trying to assinate him. Bourne decides to deliver promised shit storm to treadstone. There is a woman now running things who has no knowledge of treadstone and decides to give Bourne some benefit of doubt while digging about to find out what the magical treadstone is. Brian Cox is the baddie - he stabs a fellow in the neck. I cannot remember how this film ends at all!
Please HA - fill in my Bourne style blank memories!
Second film is based around a side op that the head of Treadstone was. Brian Cox was taking new recruits and making them do hitjobs in order to advance or cover up activities of a certain Russian Oligarch and himself. Bourne is beginning to have flashbacks of himself killing a couple to make it look like Murder-Suicide.
Pamela Landy is investigating dodgyness in the CIA, and believes she's set up a buy for some files containing the info on the dirty, these files were supposed to come out a while ago, but the person involved with it was murdered by his wife who then committed suicide in strange circumstances. However her man is assassinated, and Bourne is framed for it.
The assassin tries to kill Bourne but unknown to him he fails. Pamela figures out it was Bourne's prints at the scene and goes after Treadstone's head to figure out WTF is going on. Bourne is pissed cause he thinks Treadstone tried to kill him and goes after the CIA/Treadstone to figure out WTF is going on.
Bourne figures out that Pamela thinks he killed someone to stop the information leaking, that he didn't. But he remembers that he did kill a couple a few years ago involved in exactly the same case when ordered to by Brian Cox. He figures out that Brian Cox's character is probably dodgy and manages to get a phone call tapped of himself colluding with a Russian Oligarch. Cox admits the truth and kills himself when Pamela confronts him with Bourne's evidence.
Bourne goes back to Russia to find the daughter of the couple he murdered and tell them the truth. The original assassin goes after him and nearly kills him but Bourne nearly escapes. Oligarch is arrested.
Ultimatum begins pretty much a couple of hours after this scene where he's still getting chased by police in Russia - rather than at the end of Supremacy. Most people get really confused by this.
You might want to consider watching the second movie again. The second and third movies are very closely connected and you may have some trouble fully understanding what's going on if you don't have the second movie fresh in your mind.
Wait, you seriously care about the plot of the movies? I'll give you a summary of all 3 movies: Matt Damon kicking ass in front of a cameraman with Parkinson's Disease all the while stupid conspiracy bullshit happens in the background.

The third movie is a bit more satisfying if the first and second movies are fresh in your mind.
If you're just going to ignore the parts that aren't fighting or chase scenes then that's cool too.

Also first one doesn't have Park-i-vision as it's not directed by Paul Greengrass.
