Is it possible to download the Win7 ISO with my product key that I obtained through the MSDN program?
My school only gives out the Win7 professional ISO in Spanish, and well I'm too used to using Windows in English. I've searched on the site, and apparently only the actual MSDN subscribers have access to the downloads.
I would like to be mistaken and know if it's actually possible for me to somehow link my product key to my MSN account and download it.
Since it's through a school, you probably want to talk to your school's IT dept. Barring that, contact Microsoft directly. Since they'd be supplying it, might as well go to the source.
i downloaded the 64-bit windows 7 iso to reinstall it on my laptop it all worked fine till it asked me to enter my product key and it tells me its invalid now i dont have an operating system.
Edit: Old thread, didn't realize it was a new question. You need to make sure the iso you downloaded matches the version of Windows 7 you had - some keys only work for 32 or 64 and not both, though most do work for both, but the version (home basic, home premium, etc) needs to match exactly. Here's the index I use when I need a version for a computer at work, microsoft doesn't have a public index of their own:
Edit: Actually going to take the link back, since it has some links to questionable software that could be used for piracy. So rather, exactly what version of windows 7 is listed on your key sticker?
It's possible to modify an ultimate version iso to make a ship disk that can install any version, but it's a bit wonky and usually safer to just download the exact version.

You need to make your own thread.
