Finding a place to play poker in Toronto

So I'm planning a bachelor party and I'm all out of ideas. The groom would like to play poker during his bachelor party, but I'm not sure where to go.

I'd rather not do a casino as they are somewhat far away.

Ideally I'd like to find some kind of room to rent where about 12 people can play poker for the night.

I've tried google, but am out of ideas. Would welcome any advice or suggestions!

    Cursory google search yields: http://www.torontopoker.org/

Seems like they have a few locations around the GTA. You might approach one of them about booking it out for a bachelor party or getting a large private room. Absolutely no idea if they do anything like that however.

I suppose no one attending has a suitable place for 12 people to play without finding a poker room?

Have you considered a hotel suite or are you looking for an actual poker table setup?

Might try Kijiji or Craigslist as well.

A hotel room? We rented a suite once to do exactly that. Just request a banquet table from the front desk.

t Over - Thanks, I found the same site but I didn't call them. I've been to a couple of these places and they generally specialize in just a large bar-type room with a few tables.

t- Disco - Good suggestion about the banquet table. I didn't know hotels would have that kind of thing available.
