So the Wii sensor bar that sat neatly on top of my T.V is now in two pieces. YAY other peoples kids. :x
I'm trying to buy a wired sensor bar but everything is coming back wireless. I'm in the UK and would prefer not to use ebay. Tried the usual GAME, Gamestation and CEX. GAME employee told me they don't seel wired ones anymore and that you can't get them, its wireless only now. Seriously?

Well, the used game stores here occasionally have the wired Nintendo IR bars used. Did you look in the used accessory section? (Dumb question, I'm sure.)

Call Nintendo? I'm pretty sure they can sell you one. I know we got replacement Wii Fit board feet from them once (and of course found our missing set about a week after the new ones arrived...)
Tried the used section, might have to give ninty a call after all.
How bad are the wireless sensors? I jjust hate the thought of having to buy yet another wireless thing that requires a battery change every freaking week.
They sell replacement sensors at Nintendo for $7.50, and they ship pretty fast, too. I ordered something from there that is discontinued now, and I got it within the week.

So i'm going to assume I can ask about Hardware questions here ?
I have without success tried to store my Profile and Save for Borderlands on a USB flash drive. My 360 will not read the drive itself apparently. OR it won't while a Hard Drive is attached as I can't even check the contents of that while the flash drive is plugged in. I have the latest firmware so I thought it could work.
It's fairly small only 512 GB since it's purpose is to ferry saves to my buddies house. Am I able to do this ?
I'm assuming you meant 512 MB, and if so that is the problem. There's an arbitrary size restriction of between 1 GB and 16 GB for what USB drives a 360 will read. If you have a 32 GB or whatever, it'll read it and partition the first 16 GB for 360 leaving the remaining 16 GB for use everywhere else.
No idea why they did this as the old MUs came is much smaller sizes (I still have a 512 MB MU that I use at least once a week).
I didn't want to make a new thread for a simple question so yeah:
I was looking at the Razer Onza Tournament Edition controller for the 360 at Best Buy and it looks quite nice, with the stick tensioning, a bit better d-pad, and the programmable bumpers....buuut...holding it up to a normal 360 controller it looked funny. It wasn't any bigger really, but the location of the sticks and buttons on the Razer appear to be more compacted and less intuitive.
I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the controller. I think the regular Onza is the same basic layout so I suppose that would work too. I was considering getting a wired controller for PC use, and then I saw the Onza and was wondering if a PC would read it pretty much as a 360 controller (since it appears the controller itself handles the bumpers, it is sending the same signal to the 360) since it's a licensed product. If not I'd rather just get a plain wired controller; but if so it's really appealing, since it'd probably be nice for 360 use anyway.
My girlfriend was setting up her account and accidentally set up her PSN account under "User 1" as opposed to the name she wanted. So, now she has two accounts. One that has the name she wants on the PS3 and has all of her saves and such and one that says "User 1" but is tied to her PSN account. I tried to register the PSN account under the PS3 account that she wanted, but it was disallowed because "User 1" was using that PSN ID. Can I delete the "User 1" account and then register her PSN account under the PS3 name she wants to use?

I'm pretty sure you can, but I'm not sure how trophies she's earned on her "LIU's GF" profile will work. I know the PS3 is finicky about attaching a PSN account to a PS3 profile that already has trophies in it, as it happened to my sister in law. What I don't remember is if it gave her the warning that said "Trophies will not be earned for this game unless you delete the save data and start over" popped up when she created a PSN account after the fact and attached it to her profile, or when she moved her saved games from my PS3 to hers.

That's fine. She really doesn't care about the Trophies. She just wants to clean up the login screen on the dashboard so there are only two entries instead of three.
Log In (far left menu) > Select User 1 > Users (far left menu) > Triangle Button > Delete. Should be all that you need to do. Then you can set up the PSN account on the new User. Alternatively, you can delete the other named account and just rename User 1 by pressing Triangle Button, selecting Information, and then highlighting the name (User 1 in this case).
What's up with this Dark Tower game for the DS by Atlus? It looks like maybe a clone of EO / Wizardry? How good is it?
Then again if EO makes you pull your hair out, it is a stylish and fun game otherwise. Retro mode is a hoot!
Okay, new question: What is the bare minimum patches do I need to make Morrowind play on a 64bit OS w/out crash bombing. It's Vista. (I know...I'm sorry.)

Wow...People who mod Morrowind are pretty serious about modding Morrowind.

I think this thread sort of died in the transition from the old forums, but I can't think of a good place to ask this question. (Maybe the PS Store thread, I guess.)
Specifically, my L. A. Noire trophies aren't showing up anywhere. I'm still getting the trophies in game, and they show up on my trophy list locally, but not on the site, which is what I read for my sig below.

edit: UK site doesn't appear to have a store. GAH! I'm sure there is one, just a pain to get to it.
1. a very simple transmitter that gets a signal when the wii is turned on (or alternatively, an on/off switch)
2. two leds and something to power them.
The wireless bar my buddy uses for his projector lasts something ridiculous like 300 hours on one triple A battery.

Bare bones, kind of boring. Etrian Oddysey is much much better.

but I felt like I should point you at this: http://knotstheinane.blogspot.com/p/morrowind-modding-guide.html
It makes pretty.
One of our own PA'ers did this, I can't recall who though atm.
Is anyone else having trouble synchronizing trophies up to the PSN network servers? It seems to sync fine on the PS3 side, but they don't show up here: http://us.playstation.com/publictrophy/index.htm?onlinename=Random35
