USA gymnastics wins bronze medal 10 years after competition ended

So the Chinese Gymastic team was stripped of their bronze from the 2000 Games in Sydney due to an underage participant. The US team, which was fourth, now moves up to the podium. Rejoice! The Americans beat the Chinese!

I remember the age issue being a huge talking point in Beijing in 2008. Right or wrong, that talk is not going to go away anytime soon when you have a committee that takes 10 years to investigate this crap.

    Also I've been bitter about Converse since they sold to Nike. Don't know why. Except that Nike charge an assload for shoes.

    I would have bought a pair of converse high tops the other day if they didn't all have that obnoxious star logo slapped on the side... I'm almost tempted to buy a pair and try to pry the damn things off, but I really don't want to run the risk of irreversibly damaging the shoes and wasting my money.
