So I was one of the few that got to head over and watch the ping pong action a few weeks ago. Now I'm not a typical fanboy that will ask a thousand questions or gush about personal favorite comics and such (you know what I mean). But it was pretty cool to shake Jerry's hand and appropriate an imported ginger ale from the communal fridge upon my arrival. The PA staff were just like employees at any other company I've ever been to with slightly more blithe atmosphere among them. Sometimes the people here on the forums make them out to be more than what they are. The ones that I met were polite if not friendly and with the exception of Fehlauer, who seemed somewhat passive aggressive, were all cool people. I was pretty much a wallflower the entire time, which suits me just fine. I had some laughs and my overall experience was positive so thanks for the invite and the slice of pep.

    Personally, I worship mike and jerry and offer them daily offerings as is their due. Two goats a day, and a pair of turtledoves every Tuesday. They are no mere mortals. I stand amazed that you were able to walk calmly in their presence. Are you also a deity? What offerings do you demand?

    That was an awesome day.

    I can't remember who he said came up with it, but yeah, basically. Kiko was the stompiest, as I recall. It was kinda scary.

    Khoo was better about it, because he'd switch it up. All raising his foot up, and awwwWWWW no stamp.

    The stomp drowns out the noise the ball makes when it comes off the rubber. You can tell what type of spin a person uses based on the sound.

    edit: And, no - i did not get an opportunity to bust out the special move.
