Need Video Capture help

Alright so I'm trying to get a video capture device that's not going to be totally worthless, but also not outrageously expensive. Should be easy enough, right?

I'm basically just looking to do some streams of PA events on the 360, as well as some RTS tournaments. If the stream quality is too meh I'd be fine with just recording and uploading as well. Basically, I have no idea where to start with these things and don't know if $50 is the price to look at or $500.

    If you want the quality to be reasonable (HD resolution) you should expect to spend at least $100. I haven't bought a capture card in years so I could be wrong, but I would not look at a lower price than that. Just make sure to check reviews on Amazon and possibly avsforum.
