Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
I really really can't wait for the last one
we already know one of the kids is fucked
pretty, though
Of course, the fact that i think this probably means one of them is going to die horribly in the next comic.
I wish I could believe this
I wish I could be in this bubble and stay happy, and never read the last comic where one of the children is definitely going to be horribly murdered
oh god dammit
when is that coming out, anyway
ps3 exclusive everything into my arsehole
GRRR
STEAM
Or is it all just pretend and the snow scenes are in the kids' minds?
It's when they are performing the task they are being unknowingly trained for.

no way is this not going to end in tragedy
Cut to Friday with the Owl monster eating everyone..
Four went up to the frosty crown
but three came tumbling, tumbling down
strikes me as pretty damn ominous
Maybe three of them makes it back alive, the jester being the one kid who gets eaten.
The parts of the story with the adult are in the fall, when the kids are training for their task. Then we transition to the winter, when they're executing the task they were trained for. Whether or not the kids look older doesn't really matter, since it's likely just the very next season.
So the first part shows them playing with the adult acting as the monster. Then we see them transition to hunting the actual monster. And now they cut back to show us exactly what the kids are expected to do in order to kill the monster. Everything about the tone and foreshadowing tells me the winter shots are real and it's very clearly being set up for at least one kid to die. Maybe he will or won't, but if this is just a straightforward pretend-fun-happy-times thing I will eat my hat and be very disappointed in the story.

shame Gabe has to come in here and kind of Buckley it
(Of course there is the possibility that I'm terribly wrong about everything, also.)
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
Alternatively, death.
Because if that turns out to be true then
Years later, fatty is still traumatized by survivor's guilt.

And he almost got eaten by the basilisk, too. Live, blonde kid!
