Can Hue Shift? Probably Not.

Hue Shift is a very simple looking puzzler, with minimalist gameplay and graphics. You control a square to see how far up a column of coloured platforms you can climb before falling back down. The block itself moves left and right across the screen automatically, your job is to jump and change colours between red, green and blue. If you are the same colour as a platform it is solid, if you are a different colour, you pass through it. Which sounds simple, until you actually try to do it.
Play it here and beat my pathetic current best of 1199.
EDIT: Also, control scheme 2/b is superior in every way, to the point I wonder why they gave a choice.

Yeah, it'd be nice to be able to skip the minitutorial.
So far trying to jump from one colour to the same colour above me is still kicking my ass. In theory I know to jump, flick to another colour to pass through, and then flick back to land, but in practice... ow.
this game seems like it would be a lot more fun if i could just remember which key corresponded to which letter, but i don't think i have the patience to keep doing the beginning over and over until i don't have to look to figure out what to press

i am determined to be able to do it on muscle memory. that's why it's addicting haha
Has anybody else played The Impossible Game for the XBox Indie service? This kind of reminds of it, in it's deceptively simple concept and brutal fucking difficulty.
I wasted too much time on that game, and I think I'm going to do the same with this one.

This game would be fun if it wasn't for the 'tutorial' the game forces you to do.
As such, it's not fun.

Strictly RGB. Well, and grey. And they're very much pure colours, not wierd shades of them.
If you time it just right you can jump juuuust above the red line then switch to red to skip a couple of seconds
