So I got a 2 week free trial to EVE that I'm currently installing.

I think it may be fun, and it's pretty, so why the hell not for 2 weeks right?

Anyone still play EVE?

Is it more fun than it was?

    I have tried that same trial like, five times. And I always crash out in the middle of the second week.

    Okay I have to chime in with my faggotry here because I have been playing Eve for like 4 years almost and played with PA dudes the whole time.

    The game is fun as fuck when you are not making ISK. If you can find some way to play while doing no PVE or mining, or anything that takes any time and focus only on killing the fuck out of dudes it is the best game ever made.

    I suggest importing shit, even basic stuff like ammo or something to 0.0 places (i definitely recommend joining mrchi).

    The PvE in this game is soul-crushingly boring.

    Yes you can do cool stuff in under 2 weeks. you can do cool stuff on Day 1 in Eve. Join MRCHI, get your ass to 0.0, join an OP and beg people for free frigates.

    Yeah join up with Merchi, they have a whole program to induct newbies now to get you into the thick of things while still on trial. There's a thread in the MMO forum.

    But yeah I can't say the game seems to have improved any, stopped in briefly a month ago and it was the same shit only slightly more stable and slightly prettier

    They essentially forgot to pay the rent, causing us to lose all our space. Then goons trolled their CEO into disbanding the alliance. It was a hilarious month.

    We're currently shacking up in the North with some allies helping them stymie the southern bloc. The new alliance is now stable and its a good time to join if you like combat. There's a thread in the MMO forum if you want to ask about Merch Industrial.

    If you play the 2 weeks on your own, you will hate the game and quit. Joining merchi is no guarantee you won't hate the game and quit after 2 weeks, but its a slightly higher chance of you actually having fun.

    Playing the trial by yourself is dumb as shit. After you do the tutorial you should just immediately apply to MRCHI and head out to 0.0 - you will make more ISK, kill more dudes, and have way more fun.

    Consult the GoonFleet wiki for any basic question you have. Most newbie related stuff is available to the public but if you want ship fits, mission guides, complex guides, etc you need to be in MRCHI
