Windows Live Messenger - Hacked??

So, today I was watching tv shows using my laptop connected to my TV, and therefore had my phone signed in to MSN to talk to my girlfriend. I sent her a message, and about 20 minutes later checked my phone to see I had been signed out because I "have signed in at another location." Now, sometimes my computer likes to sign me in automatically if I lose internet and reconnect, so I checked that, but nope, not on MSN on my laptop. So, I'm confused now, and phone my girlfriend and ask her if she's been talking to me since we talked about how she was painting her ceiling (last thing we talked about before I stopped getting messages from her, and then checking and seeing I was offline). She told me yes, but that I was "being weird, and kind of a dick". Clearly this is not me that was talking, and I am kind of weirded out because I have never told anyone my password.

Weird, right? The TV show I was watching?

Anyway, back on topic. I was wondering two things 1) if I email the appropriate person(s) will they help me find out where my account was being signed in from? and 2) if yes, what email (or phone number?) should I use to contact them...?

Thank you

If there's been a breach of security on your account no-one will give you info about who got into it. Your best bet is to go to http://www.passport.com on a clean computer (or after scrubbing your current one of viruses/spyware/whatever) and changing your password to something much harder to break to deny them access.

Also, maybe change your MSN nickname to something that lets people know your account was compromised, and that they should double-check any links that "you" sent to them and virus-check their machines.
