This is Jack. He has sadly taken the place of our NOBLE FLAG, the FLAG OF SAINT DAVID
Here is a picture of Davo and BORIS having a just wonderful time together.
Anyway, there's just been an election don't y'know. Some dreadful oiks (Gordon Something? And that Clegg fellow, went to Westminster I believe, terribly second rate at Latin so I'm told) were thoroughly defeated by the wonderful David Cameron. Unfortunately, some terrible skullduggery has resulted in the blossoming of a beautiful romance...
"Darling you look simply LOVELY this morning... but you looked fantastic last night".
The closet in which the government has been lurking has been found to be surprisingly full of DAMNED LIBERAL DEMOCRATS and not as many Etonians as expected(this is disappointing); however, the important jobs went to old boys (cheers cheers).
All this nonsense aside.
Use this thread to cast aspersions upon the political judgement of your peers; complain about the Daily Mail, rage against the Grauniad dictionary-raping machine, laugh as the independent is controlled by its shadowy Russian overlords and cry a little as the Telegraph mourns another piece of England lost to the ravening hordes of Polish Plumbers.
Discuss, sirs!

It should be noted that exit polls suck. They've been completely wrong the last 4-5 elections in the US

Boris has the best of fashion senses.
"The politics of failure have failed, time to make them work again!"
A nice steaming bowl of faggots and gravy, yum
EDIT fix your fucking country plx, I have some money in pounds that I'd like to get at a favourable rate
Actually, the fair trial provisions were much, much weaker, and the binding of other public bodies besides the court similarly so. I really don't think you've done your research properly.
(I specialised in HR at University)
Theoretical arguments yet to be tested in court are no basis for repealing anything.
I'm afraid you need something a bit more substantial than the wild claims above. Try doing your own research into HR law isnetad of just believing the media.
If we fix our country your rate will only get worse, we have a really awesome exchange rate OUT, just fucks anyone coming in.
Re-read that post more carefully. I bolded the important bit.
the canadian is making demands while the queen is still activated, and seeking targets
most unwise
"You looked a bit slimmer after your diet. On the other hand, you were crap"
That's ok, we'll just have our governor-general speak french and eat some more raw seal meat to make you pale-skinned nannies swoon in nausea again. Besides if she really starts kicking up trouble we can just release a pack of well groomed Corgis to distract her.

Oh, thats who that was?
She was a pain in the ass.
I eagerly await the forthcoming slash-fiction.
Note the power gesture of Cameron with his hand on Cleggs back, essentially saying "i'm in charge here".
Also, what the fuck with the security guards? I'm sure they're probably ex-army or something, but lard almighty. It's 10 Downing Street, they should be fit ex-army types not balding 50 year olds.

There is a policeman on the door. I'm sure he knows what he's doing.
Also, I hope David and Nick aren't one of those couples that do everything together. You know the ones.
You glorious bastard.
13th May: Clegg assasinated.
14th May: Emergency powers enacted to deal with the 'unprecedented financial and political challenges that the country is set to face'.
15th May: ???
16th May: Bow to God Emperor Cameron, Lord and Savior of the Empire.
Also, the HRA - I have yet to see a detailed legal argument, as opposed to an opinion piece in a newspaper or on TV, that raises convincing argument against it. Can anyone give me a link to some academic articles on the pros or cons of the HRA? I ideally would like a detailed, reasoned argument with reference to examples
(it's now harder, if you hadn't already guessed)
Old: 50% of MPs + 1 extra MP
New: 55% of MPs
Yes, that first result is, well, interesting
306 (no. of Tory seats) / 650 *100 = 47%. Interesting, eh?
