Making a List, Checking it Twice!

So, I like making lists. It helps me collect myself, where I am in life and what needs doing.

Not many things feel as good as looking at a 'To Do' list that has been totally crossed out.

Lists can help motivate people, aid in productivity and bring about self-realizations on what you've been neglecting.

Here is my top 5 overall 'To Do' list for the next 10 years:

1. Learn to play the piano
2. Learn the art/trade of blacksmithing
3. Work in the comic book industry again
4. Stop freelancing/contracting and get a decent, steady paying job (hopefully related to #3, if possible)
5. MAKE THAT DAMNED WALL CRAWLER PAY!

Here is a list on my whiteboard, right above my head, right now:

1. Google Analytics
2. PHP/MySQL
3. (Secret Site)
4. RisingSide
5. GET MOTIVATED!

    Learn to play the harmonica
    Go back to playing the trumpet, you moron, you already know how to play the damn thing
    Buy a house
    Take the professional engineer test
    Get a job where you actually do some math, you're good at math

    It's number five because of spacial reasons:

    my whiteboard is directly behind my monitor, so with GET MOTIVATED at number 5, it is actually directly in my line of site if I look over my monitor.

    1.) Get a job. (I start Monday!)
    2.) Start running everyday.
    3.) Start working out. (I started that today!)

    I make lists all the time. But my lists tend to be things like 'top five Star Wars Games' or 'best head I've got in my life'.

    I don't know if this counts as a list but I taped a post it note by my pillow that says MAKE TODAY A GOOD DAY in intimidating sharpie capital letters, and I like it a lot.

    I have a to-do list; I don't check it very often, just when I'm looking for chores to do on a weekend.

    The only item I can remember from it is 'Visit Nanna', and it's not one I'll ever cross off.

    2. Stop procrastinating as much
    3. Draw more
    4. Study another language
    5. Learn to play an instrument

    Longer-term

    1. Transfer to UC
    2. Graduate/find proper job

    You can change the dictionary used on firefox. That is how I taught it proper english. it gets colour and honour correct.
