How do you gift wrap a stuffed animal?!

Without using a box and without making it look like a giant mess.

Any help much appreciated. Also I´m a clumsy 21 year old with no creativity.

A gift bag with paper tissue and maybe some curly ribbons.

or you could wrap it in segments.

    leg x 4
    tail
    head
    body

    (gift bag is easier though)

alternately, claim that you've used the softest, sheerest material ever invented and she doesn't ever have to unwrap it!

Roll it up like a.... tootsie roll. Use ribbon for the twists.

And you can throw a bow on there.

We also did stuff like this but it takes more time and some special equipment. Kids go nuts over it though.

If it's really big, you don't have to put it in anything. We bought my nephew a giant elephant stuffed animal and that went over just fine with no wrapping. If it's a very small stuffed animal a gift bag is okay, or you can just sit it on a big square of wrapping paper, pull the paper up around it, and tie with a ribbon at the top.

If you can't find someone who does the balloon you can also look at getting the plastic sheeting and just wrap it around and put a big bow at the top.

I've done it with and without a basket usually with a complimentary color and ribbons. Works like a charm for odd sized items in general as long as you don't mind them seeing what it is.

That is also a good way to wrap baked goods on a plate.

I totally screwed with my niece with one of these. I started freaking out and told her, "oh no, they didn't leave any breathing holes for it..."

    I'm a bad uncle.

Just put a bow around the neck. It's simple, cute and easy!

I've always opted for the tootsie-roll method for smaller plushies, or the garbage bag method for large ones.

For the roll, you just get a wide rectangle of paper, roll up the plushie (rolling it up in tissue paper first helps keep is from poking out of minor rips in the paper as it gets moved around) in the wrapping paper, then tie of the ends. The trash bag is similar, but putting the plushie in the middle of the biggest square of paper you can find, bringing it up from all sides, and tying it off.
