The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I have the platinum collection, and on disc 6 there are three episodes, with (OA) infront, and then the same three episodes underneath with (DC) infront.
So what's the differance between them?
Second question, which movie do I watch first after I finish the series, end of eva or death and rebirth?
Thanks a lot guys, and pelase no spoilers I'm only upto episode 20, I'll be extremely upset.

Death and Rebirth is a glorified clipshow followed by the first 20 minutes of end. It's completely unessential.
The DC is for the director cuts, which are 6-10 minutes longer than the original episodes.
Death and Rebirth, but there's no need to watch it if you've watched the real episodes. I watched up to ep 24, then End of Evangelion (which is a replacement for the last two episodes).
Cool, I just ordered the two movies as I've finished with the series, I just want to watchthings in order, you know?
Will I miss out on anything if I don't have the directors cut of the movies?
There aren't director's cuts of the movies.
The director's cuts are the last few episodes of the TV series. The OA were the episodes as they Originally Aired, and the DC were Director's Cuts; versions of the episodes that are on average 8 minutes longer.
If you watched the OA episodes on the DVDs, then don't worry too much. One of the few good things about Death & Rebirth is that it uses alot of the Director's Cut footage to frame the other flashback sequences.

It just celebrated its 10th Anniversary in Japan, so there's been a ton of new products/documentaries/etc that will never come stateside.
Also, there's something like 4 new movies in production to retell the series and its ending.
oh man, reckon i'd be able to grab some of it off amazon?
yeha i've heard about the movies in wikipedia, i'm pretty excited, i really liked the series
