That seems like a lot of trouble for something that can be handled simply by reading the title of a thread and memory.

I've seen this on other forums, and it's kind of a cool feature, though I'm not one to be able to tell you how well the mechanics of it would go.

It marks threads that have post you havn't seen. Is your memory realy that bad that you can't remember where you were having a conversation?

That's strange, it seems like whenever I post in a thread, the folder changes a different shade of yellow/red for me.

Mabye I'm just seeing things.
