Iced Tea recipe

So summer has finally hit here in Britain, and I'm interested in producing a refreshing drink that also incorporates our beloved national drink: TEA.

Does anyone on PA have a good reliable recipe for iced tea, flavoured or not, I'd quite like to have a bash at making it!

I've been making use of Teavanna, so I suggest hitting your local tea shop for suggestions. I've gotten some great loose blends this way I never would have otherwise tried.

I used to just brew some regular bag tea, stir in sugar while it was hot and then let it cool. If I'm in a rush I'll grab the powder mix at the store (you don't always need to spend $$$ for iced tea, especially for large groups).

    1. Place quality tea bags in clear glass jar,
    2. put lid on jar,
    3. set jar in sunny window for X* hours,
    4. ???
    5. profit

*where X equals the time to get to desired strength

Please note the jar should have water in it as well or you just get slightly warm tea bags.

Lemon juice & grand marnier added to iced tea (with sugar, not american iced tea) is A++

    1 shot vodka
    1 shot gin
    1 shot rum
    1 shot tequila
    1 shot triplesec
    2-3 oz sours

Blend all that, pour it in a collins glass over ice, and then give it a splash of coke for color. Serve with a straw and lemon garnish.
