Hooking up a wii to a monitor.

My friend bought a cord for hooking a wii up to a monitor. It kind of works but for some reason the monitor keeps auto-adjusting every couple of minutes making it unplayable. Does anyone know of anything you could do to fix this problem?

I am extremely interested in this as I'd like to do the same thing.

What kind of monitor? CRT or other? Connecting via D-sub / "VGA" or HDMI or what?

What kind of auto-adjustment is it doing? Does it say?

I don't really know much about monitors, we are connecting through VGA. It was auto-adjusting the screen resolution. My friend seemed to think that the problem was the cord itself, so were getting a new one.

My friend bought this off of amazon,

We are going to test it later today or tomorrow.
