Multi flight trip (Nashville to NYC to England and back) Travel Agnecy?
So I'm gonna be taking a trip soon to the places listed in the title and I'm wondering if a travel angecy would be a good way to book this or if I should use kayak.com?
I usually use kayak when I'm doing trips to Japan but the last time because I wanted a rail pass I used a travel agent because they sold the JR passes. They got about 350 bucks knocked off the regular ticket price I saw on kayak for the same flights and I'm wondering if anyone has had a good experience with other travel agencys? I can't use the one I used for Japan since they deal only in flights to and from Japan so that's really why I'm asking
TLDR: Wanna go from nashville to nyc to england and back, what's the cheapest way to do this?
I just got back from a trip to England, and it involved multiple flights. Worked out perfectly, and booked it through different websites (AirTransat.ca for Toronto to Glasgow, and Heathrow to Toronto, and BMI.co.uk for Glasgow to Heathrow.) Basically, you don't need a travel agent for it if you can find cheaper prices online.
If you're looking for the absolute cheapest way to do it you should look into catching a train or plane from NYC to Toronto and flying Air Transat from there, or see if Thomas Cook will fly out of NYC - I'm not sure but it might work out cheaper. Those two are the absolute cheapest airlines to and from the UK, at least in Canada. Air Canada wanted about $2200 per person when I flew, Air Transat did it for $700 and was just as nice.
Hmm so far I've found an American Airlines flight that'll do the whole trip for about 800. Which is pretty good. But I'm always trying to find a nice cheap way that let's me maximize time spent with the people I'm flying to meet.
just go on a flight website, like expedia and use the 'multiple destinations' option. you can put in a whole bunch of individual orgins and destinations.
