I would prefer to not take it - it's a huge check and we have tons of morale (6). If we lose a pop that makes it harder to early jump. Actually, with only tre and pil negative, it might not be so bad... I'll have to check what the cylons picked up
Does the "each player discards a card" part apply to the cylons?
If this is super important I could use the chiefs special once per game ability. I figure I might save that for the yet unrevealed cylon super doom card, but if you guys want...
No, both super doom cards have been played. The 2x centurion infiltration & massive assault.
I would negate piloting if you're going to use it, tre shouldn't be in the DD anymore but there's lots of pil and while baltar is limited (I tihnk) to only tre, I know apollo is sitting on a bunch of pil. You can save it if you want, but really the game's ending very soon anyway. Also, tre only goes up to 3 while pil goes up to 5 like normal

I...can't even imagine having contributed 14 positive cards that the check would fail, even if both destiny cards are negative. But hey, feel free to use up all your one-use abilities on stuff like this!
Well, without that the toasters would have put in -6 to -8 and without that the DD could end up going another -4 or 5 easily if we get unlucky. Now it's maximum -6
